Games (this week):
We’re thrilled to be participating in a basketball jamboree this Sat, 11/9! Here’s the schedule for our two scrimmage games:
- Game 1: Versus Middle Creek at 11:00am, held at Earnest Ramsey Gym in Siler City
- Game 2: Versus Durham School of the Arts at 4:00pm, held at Jordan Matthews High School in Siler City
We’d love for your parents to come out and show their support, as this event kicks off our season!

We have an important parent meeting scheduled for Tue, 11/12, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. During meeting, we’ll cover topics including team goals, communication methods, practice schedules, volunteer opportunities, fundraising plans, parental support, and we’ll have a Q&A session.
All parents are encouraged to attend, as the meeting will provide valuable information.
Kobe’s Discipline:
“Discipline puts you so far ahead that they can’t catch you!” – Kobe Bryant
Are you built this way!!!
Coachability:
Are You Coachable?
This is the most important attribute you need to excel in!
Many players possess the desire and determination to succeed. You might have a vision in your mind of what it takes and what you should do.
However, if you haven’t yet been part of a high-level team, you might not have the experience to match your determination. So, when your coach gives you feedback, it’s natural to feel frustrated. You want to succeed so badly that constructive criticism can feel difficult in the moment.
But here’s the key: It’s okay!
Remember, a setback can often be the setup for a comeback. Take the constructive feedback, make the adjustments, and come back stronger the next time.
That’s what defines a truly coachable player!
