Locker Room Protocol:
We’re officially using the locker room! A refrigerator and microwave have been placed inside, and I’ll work to stock bottled water, Gatorade, and snacks for the team.
Effective immediately, please follow these guidelines:
- Keep belongings inside the locker – Do not leave clothing or items outside.
- Maintain cleanliness – Treat the locker room as if you’re being judged (because you are). Pick up after yourself.
- Be considerate with snacks and drinks – Limit your consumption to ensure everyone has access.
- Use a combination lock – For security purposes, protect your belongings. Items have gone missing in past years.
- Hold each other accountable – Ensure the locker room is cleaned immediately after use.
Let’s stay on top of this and keep our locker room clean and organized!
Three Pillars for Success:
I’ve emphasized this often: for Seaforth basketball to excel, we must focus on these three key pillars:
- Play strong half-court defense.
- Break the opponent’s press defense.
- Execute a disciplined offense, avoiding rushed plays and turnovers.
Each pillar is designed to limit easy scoring opportunities for our opponents. In every game, we must effectively execute at least two of these three pillars to find success.
By committing to this approach, we’re setting ourselves up for an outstanding season!
