Focus on the Process — Not the Outcome:

Winning is not something you chase. Winning is the by-product of doing the right things, the right way, every day.

Too often, players put pressure on themselves to “have a big game.” But great games don’t come from trying to force results — they come from executing the process one possession at a time: defend, rebound, run the floor, move the ball, and take good shots.

When you skip steps because you’re in a hurry to shine, success becomes harder to reach. There are no shortcuts to real results.

Our success as a team depends on everyone doing their job and owning their role. When each player commits to their process — on offense, on defense, on the bench, in practice—our chances to win skyrocket.

When I say, “Make a play,” I’m not saying, “Go be a hero.” I’m saying trust the process: read the defense, go through your progressions, make the right decision. Sometimes you’ll score, sometimes you’ll make the pass that leads to the score—but either way, the team wins.

If we stay locked in on the process, the results will take care of themselves.
