We’re in the middle of the Christmas break, and this is where good teams decide who they want to become.

Stay the course. Trust the work. Today’s effort is tomorrow’s edge. While others relax and drift, this is an opportunity to sharpen your skills and hunger to get better. Growth doesn’t pause for the holidays — it rewards the teams willing to stay disciplined.

Focus on getting 1 percent better every day. Don’t look too far ahead. Lock into today’s workout, today’s shots, today’s film, and today’s mindset. Treat every practice and opportunity to train as if you’re preparing for game night.

Be present. Be intentional. Be a selfless teammate who values team success over individual recognition. Hold each other accountable and push one another to maintain our standard.

We’ve earned wins against Carrboro and Cedar Ridge, but that’s only the foundation. Especially in conference play, improvement must continue. Use this break to build an edge — physically, mentally, and together.
